Ms. Sfouri is a senior lecturer at the Business Administration and Economics department as of September 1999.

She has been involved in higher education for over 25 years and has been teaching as a full time member of staff at both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes (MSc and EMBA).

She has served for a number of years in administrative positions in the department such as the academic director of the UG programme, the academic director of PG programmes, and the department’s director of teaching.

She has experience in managing her family’s businesses back in the U.S. in the restaurant and retail sector.

She has participated in local mentoring programmes ‘ERGANI’ for supporting women to start new businesses as well as other skill capacity development schemes for self- employment purposes.

She represented the institution’s research center (SEERC) in a Tempus IV project.

The project’s aim was to develop interdisciplinary postgraduate curricula in the field of innovation management in Serbian Higher Educational Institutions based on best practice from existing EU study programmes. Her role was to provide academic consultation for the development of PG curricula, LLL courses and in teaching and learning methods as well as assessment.

She has served as an external reviewer for the Management School of the University of Bradford in the U.K. for a five year term. During this period, she participated in the review of several new UG and PG proposals.
