All current students will be unaffected by the changing situation and you will be able to complete your studies in order to receive your University of Sheffield degree.

Yes. All students currently registered will have sufficient time in order to complete their studies by 2024.
While we expect all students to complete their studies according to the official timeframe for their course, we recognise that there needs to be some flexibility in our arrangements with Sheffield. If you need to suspend your studies for a semester or a full year, or you are required to resit any courses, then your case will be considered on an individual basis to ensure that you are able to receive the appropriate qualification.
CITY College is starting a close relationship with the University if York and we will be the ‘University of York Europe Campus’. The University of York is a member of the prestigious Russell Group of leading UK universities and consistently ranks amongst the very best universities in the UK and the world. Until 2024, CITY College will work with both Universities.
You will be expected to complete your studies on the University of Sheffield programme and to receive your degree from the University of Sheffield.
Yes. All students are invited to attend the relevant graduation ceremonies which are held annually in Sheffield.
No. All courses are subject to some change to reflect new ideas, new concepts and the changing world in which we live. However, there will be no changes made to your courses as a result of the decision to end our relationship.
No. There will be no change to the teaching or administrative staff at CITY College as a result of the decision to end our relationship.
No. You will continue to be registered with your Sheffield academic department and there will be no change to your circumstances as a result of the ending of the relationship. PhD students will be permitted to continue their studies beyond 2024 in accordance with existing time-limit regulations.
Yes. The University is committed to ensuring that all resources it provides to students undertaking Sheffield programmes will continue to be available until 2024.

Yes. Your status as a University of Sheffield International Faculty student will remain unchanged.
There will be no change to the degree certificates and transcripts for Sheffield awards. Please see this link.
